On Thursday, the Da Nang People's Committee Vice Chairman, Mr Phung Tan Viet, played host to the CEO of Japan’s Brain Works Group, Mr Noboru Kondo.  The purpose of his visit was to promote bilateral cooperation with Da Nang, and to discuss the preparations for opening a representative office of Da Nang in Osaka Prefecture in Japan's Kansai region.

The Japanese CEO showed a keen interest in investing in Da Nang thanks to the city’s rapid growth towards modernisation and global integration over recent years.  He pledged that he would do his utmost to assist the city with opening its representative office in Osaka Prefecture, which will help to deepen bilateral cooperative ties with Da Nang and Viet Nam as a whole.

Vice Chairman Viet asserted that the local authorities would create even more favourable conditions for the Brain Works Group to operate effectively in the city.  The city leader took the opportunity to ask Mr Kondo to help Da Nang seek a suitable venue for its new representative office in Osaka Prefecture.
