On Wednesday morning, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Xuan Anh visited some of the voting venues in the districts of Cam Le, Thanh Khe and Hai Chau.  His visits aimed to check their preparations for this Sunday’s elections for the 14^th National Assembly (NA) and all-level People's Councils of the 2016 - 2021 tenure.

The lists of candidates have already been displayed, whilst decorations at voting venues will be completed before Saturday.

In the afternoon of the same day, municipal People’s Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho checked election preparations in Ngu Hanh Son and Thanh Khe districts.  He stressed the need for the local election boards to offer training courses for their members on the election processes and requirements at the districts’ voting venues.

In particular, he added that information about the candidates should be provided in accordance with objective and democratic principles so that local residents can easily select those candidates who are worthy of their votes.

In addition, importance will be attached to ensuring security and safety for the elections, especially at the voting venues and the places displaying the lists of voters and candidates in these districts.

Most notably, the publicity for the upcoming elections, using visual advertising and eye-catching decorations at voting venues, is proceeding in a quick and effective manner.  The ward-level people’s committees have already completed the distribution of voting-related documents.
