On Wednesday, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Xuan Anh met with voters from Hai Chau District’s Hai Chau 1, Hai Chau 2, Thach Thang, Thanh Binh and Thuan Phuoc wards.

Secretary Anh said that if he is elected as a People’s Council (PCl) member, he would do his utmost to boost administrative reform, simplify administrative procedures, and promote the city’s socio-economic development and its investment attraction.  His aim is to make Da Nang a dynamic economic hub in the central region and highlands.

He added that he and the leaders of authorities at all levels will listen to the opinions and aspirations of local residents, and fulfil all their promises to them.  The focus will be on continuing to implement the city's ‘5 No's, 3 Yes's’ campaign, and ensure security, traffic safety, food safety and hygiene, and social welfare. 

Greater efforts will be made to develop Hai Chau District into the city’s key district, and deal strictly with local government officials involved in corruption and waste.

On the same day, the Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee, Mr Vo Cong Tri, talked with voters from the wards of An Hai Dong, An Hai Tay, An Hai Bac and Phuoc My in Son Tra District.

Deputy Secretary Tri affirmed, “If I am elected as a PCl member, I and the other members will make every effort to foster the development of local services, tourism and trade.  Importance will also be attached to building a synchronous infrastructure, making Da Nang an environmentally-friendly city, and appealing for more domestic and foreign investment inflows into the hi-tech and dedicated information technology industrial zones”.

He pledged to exert his efforts to develop high-quality human resources, reduce the number of poor families, and improve healthcare services and the material and spiritual lives of social policy beneficiaries.
