To mark the 126^th birth anniversary of the late President Ho Chi Minh today (19 May), a meeting took place at Da Nang’s Trung Vuong Theatre to review the city’s implementation of Politburo Directive 03-CT/TW on promoting the ‘Studying and Following President Ho Chi Minh’s Moral Example’ campaign over the 2011 - 2016 period.

The event reviewed the implementation of the directive by local Party organisations, as well as pointed out and identified ways to remedy any shortcomings in order to enhance the quality of the campaign and increase its good influences on the local society.

A number of local groups and individuals were honoured at the event in recognition of their outstanding achievements in the local campaign over the period.  This aimed to highly praise those who have good moral qualities, do good deeds, and help widely publicise their innovation models in the implementation of the campaign.

The review of the city’s implementation of 03-CT/TW, which was issued in 2011, will help effectively implement the newly-issued Politburo Directive 05-CT/TW on promoting the studying and following the ideology, morality and lifestyle of late President Ho Chi Minh.
