Special attention will be paid to ensuring political security and social order in the city, with a focus on ensuring the success of the elections for the 14th National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels which are being held on 22 May.  Importance will be attached to ensuring a peaceful life for residents and making Da Nang a more liveable city in the eyes of locals and visitors.

On the same day, Mr Dinh The Huynh paid a visit to the University of Da Nang.  He was accompanied by municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Xuan Anh and Deputy Secretary Vo Cong Tri, and local People’s Committee Chairman Huynh Duc Tho.

Mr Huynh spoke highly of the university’s remarkable educational achievements over recent years.  He highlighted the important role and position of the university in furthering the development of Da Nang, the central region and the country as a whole.  He stressed the need for the university to renew its educational curriculum and teaching methods.
