Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Secretary Tri remarked, “Da Nang has achieved and even exceeded its socio-economic development targets for the last year and the first 5 months of this year.  These positive results are mainly attributed to the great leadership of the local leaders and the high level of consensus amongst local residents”.

In reply, Mr Vuong praised the city’s PaC for its remarkable achievements over recent years.  He also highlighted the efficiency of the city’s state management work in society, as well as in preventing and fighting corruption.

He also suggested that the city authorities should effectively implement an action programme to widely publicise the resolutions adopted by the 12th National Party Congress and the 21st Congress of the municipal PaC.  The aim is to make Da Nang a dynamic economic, cultural, tourism and social hub in the central region and highlands.  The focus should be on enhancing the professional skills of inspectors at all levels in order to meet the nation’s requirements and tasks in the new situation.
