Ways suggested for promoting publicity and training activities
On Wednesday, a meeting took place in Da Nang to review the publicity and training activities about the Party’s guidelines in the central region and highlands over the first half of this year.
Da Nang Party Committee Deputy Secretary Vo Cong Tri remarked that the city had seen many remarkable achievements in its socio-economic development, and its security and defence, over the review period.

Most notably, the city authorities had effectively publicised the country’s political theory and the history of the Party, as well as promoted the local arts, cultural and publishing activities. In particular, the efficiency of oral publicity had helped to strengthen the trust of local residents in the leadership of the Party and State, and to ensure a high level of consensus in society.
The Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Publicity and Training, Mr Pham Van Linh, asked the regional localities to widely publicise the resolutions adopted by the 12th National Party Congress and the Congress of their municipal/provincial Party Committees.
As for tasks for the rest of the year, Mr Linh stressed the urgency to fight against bureaucracy, corruption, and the existence of ‘group interests’, and to ensure positive public opinion and reaction to sensitive and complicated issues in the region.
Importance will be attached to promoting the role of media agencies, along with arts, cultural and publishing activities, in preserving and promoting cultural values of regional localities in the current context of global integration.
Even more effective measures will be taken to thwart all plots and acts of sabotage and aggression by hostile forces and the so-called ‘peaceful evolution’ scheme.
