Reviewing implementation of ordinance on reserve military force
On Thursday, the Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People’s Committee, Mr Ho Ky Minh, chaired a meeting to review the implementation of an ordinance on reserve military forces over the 1996 - 2016 period.
Addressing the meeting, Vice Chairman Minh said that over the past 2 decades the city has recruited 858 reserve military officers, fulfilling 96.9% of the city’s target. He remarked that this was mainly attributed to the great efforts made by the Party committees and authorities at all levels, the armed forces, and the government departments and agencies across the city.
He also stressed the need for local relevant agencies to continue to widely publicise the Military Service Law and the ordinance on reserve military forces amongst local residents.
During the meeting, 10 groups and 11 individuals were given Certificates of Merit from the municipal People’s Committee in recognition of their outstanding achievements in implementing the ordinance over the past 2 decades.
