South Korean ship visits the city
On Monday, the South Korea Coast Guard ship Badaro (3011 HAM), carrying a total of 189 officers and crew members, docked at Da Nang’s Tien Sa Port to begin a 4-day friendly visit to the city.

This is the 2nd time that the ship has paid a friendly visit to Da Nang after its first visit last year. The purpose of this visit was to enhance the bilateral strategic partnership between Viet Nam and South Korea, as well as mark the 25th anniversary of the Viet Nam-South Korea diplomatic ties.
During their stay in the city, the Korean guests are scheduled to pay courtesy visits to some of the city leaders. In addition, they will join with the Viet Nam Coast Guard force to conduct a search and rescue practice at sea.
Barado (3011 HAM) is a training ship. The 121m-long, 16m-wide and 25m-high ship has a displacement of 4,292 tonnes.
