Over the past years, the Da Nang Port has been continuously upgraded and expanded in order to receive an increasing number of container, cruise and military ship arrivals to the city.
Notably, the border guard force has made every effort to accelerate the administrative reforms in a bid to create a deep impression on visitors.
One of the highlights of the administrative reforms in recent years has been the effective implementation of e-border guard procedures in compliance with a decision by the Prime Minister.
Thanks to this, entry, exit and transit procedures have been handled in a quickly fashion, which has helped to shorten the time taken for administrative procedures and save costs of travelling, anchoring, and unloading cargo.
The border guard force have promoted the application of information technology into the checks and monitoring of ships, passengers and cargo in order to reduce the maximum control time.
