During their meeting with the municipal leader, the Singaporean guests showed their keen interest in knowing about the city’s investment climate, and in seeking business opportunities in such aspects as tourism services, information technology, and hi-tech.
For his part, Vice Chairman Minh asked for help from SBF to facilitate his city to effectively implement numerous investment promotion activities in Singapore, as well as to appeal for more businesses from their country to pour their money into the city in the future.
He also asked the municipal Investment Promotion and Support Board to work closely with SBF to accelerate the implementation of Singaporean-invested projects in the city.
SBF is now representing a total of 21,000 domestic and foreign companies which have significantly contributed to the development of Singapore's economy.
Last year, a group of businesspeople from 25 companies based in the lion-country visited Da Nang to learn about the city’s investment climate, and helped the city implement investment promotion activities in Singapore.
Currently, Singapore is Da Nang's 3rd largest foreign investor, with 29 projects worth over 650 million USD in total.
