During his visits to war invalids Tran Thi Lieu, Le Cong Tho and Bui Van Giang, all residing in the district’s Hoa Xuan Ward, Chairman Chinh highly hailed them for their great devotion for the national revolution and the city’s progress.

He hoped that they would continue to stay healthy, uphold their families’ traditional patriotism, and encourage their descendants to make greater efforts for the city’s growth.

In addition to such aforementioned pre-Tet visits, over recent years, the Da Nang administration has paid a special heed to ensuring a happy and warm Tet for social policy beneficiaries citywide.

The municipal government is expected to provide over 52 billion VND in funding from the city budget to give Tet gifts and grant allowances to poor social policy beneficiaries across the city.

The receivers will include senior revolutionary veterans, very poor social policy families, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, People's Armed Forces heroes, labour heroes, war invalids, and the families of martyrs.
