The Da Nang Youth Union has partnered with the Hoa Vang District authorities and the municipal Department of Natural Resources and the Environment to launch the 2021 ‘Spring of Love’ volunteer campaign in an effort to help the poor celebrate a warm and happy Tet.

A combined total of 155 sanitation workers in difficult circumstances across the suburban ​​Hoa Vang District has received cash gifts of 400,000 VND each from the city’s Youth Union, and protective suits from the district-based Office of Natural Resources and the Environment.

Additionally, the municipal Youth Union has donated Tet gifts to poor employees of the Green Trees-Park Company, and the Drainage and Wastewater Treatment Company.

Ten cash gifts valued at one million VND each have been given to poor social policy families in the city, whilst 40 others, valued at 500,000 VND each, have been distributed to poor residents of Hoa Vang District’s Hoa Lien Commune.

Besides, hundreds of Tet gifts have been donated to poor patients with serious illnesses who are receiving medical treatment at local hospitals, as well as disadvantaged people in remote mountainous areas in Da Nang and Quang Nam Province.

The ‘Spring of Love’ volunteer campaign costs more than 200 million VND.
