On Monday, Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang made inspection visits to some soon-to-be-widen residential access roads in Hai Chau and Son Tra districts.

During his inspection visits to these sites, Secretary Quang urged relevant agencies to make detailed plans for expanding residential access roads in the two districts from 3.5m or 3.75m to 5.5m.
“Top priority should be given to upgrading the infrastructure synchronously in tandem with launching a campaign in the city on asking for land donations from local residents to expand such roads. Of special note, overhead power and telecommunications cables will be replaced by underground ones” remarked Mr Quang.

Mr Quang asked the authorities of Hai Chau and Son Tra districts to find owners of unknown vacant land lots in their localities, and ask them to create eye-catching landscapes which provide clean and airy spaces.
It is reported that a combined total of 34 and 60 3.5m/3.75m-wide residential access roads in Hai Chau and Son Tra districts respectively are needed to be expanded.
