Departments of Social Insurance and Home Affairs, along with Thanh Khe District have shared first place in the municipal Public Administration Reform Index 2020 (PAR Index 2020) in the categories of national and municipal government agencies and units in Da Nang.

The results have recently been announced by the Da Nang People's Committee.

In paricular, the Department of Social Insurance reached top position in the categoty of national government agencies while the Department of Home Affairs secured top position in the categoty of municipal government agencies for five consecutive years, and Thanh Khe District maintained its leading position in district category for two consecutive years in 2019, 2020.

For the category of national government agencies, the Department of Social Insurance and the Department of Customs were rated very good while Da Nang branch of the State Treasury of Viet Nam and the municipal Department of Police rated good, and Taxation Department rated fair.

For the category of municipal government agencies, the departments of Home Affairs, Information and Communications, Tourism, Justice, Science and Technology, Transportation were ranked very good while 10 others were rated good and 5 were rated fair.

For the district category, districts of Thanh Khe, Hai Chau, Lien Chieu were rated good while the remainder were rated fair.

The municipal PAR Index 2020 looked at national and municipal government agencies and units across Da Nang, and their performances in public administration reforms were assessed with respect to the transparency, public administrative procedures and public service delivery.
