Trade union organisations at the city and company levels on Tuesday provided cash and in-kind support for workers at the Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company, who are financially struggling due to COVID-19.

Da Nang Labour Union Chairman Nguyen Duy Minh visited and gave cash support worth VND 500,000 each to 13 workers in difficult circumstances who had to quit their jobs to self-isolate as a result of coronavirus, and VND 1 million in financial assistance for another one who has completed his full quarantine period.

In addition, the Trade Union organisation of the Da Nang Urban Environment Joint Stock Company presented in-kind gifts of essential items worth VND 300,000 to 14 workers who facing financial difficulties due to COVID-19.
