Da Nang Port Joint Stock Company on Wednesday morning handed over 20 tons of rice in donations to the municipal Committee of Viet Nam Fatherland Front  (VFF) to support those experiencing financial hardship as a direct result of COVID-19.

Mr Tran Viet Dung, the Vice Chairman of the municipal Committee of VFF thanked the donor for their noble and kind gesture and said the city appreciated their efforts in joining its fight against COVID-19 to support local residents amid the city’s stay-at-home order.

The donated rice will be distributed in An Hai Bac, Tho Quang, Man Thai and Nai Hien Dong wards in Son Tra District, and each ward will receive 5 tons of rice to help those who need it.
