The dispatched team will be responsible for treating and caring ill patients with COVID-19 at the field hospital No 14 in HCMC.
Addressing the send-off ceremony for the healthcare workers, Doctor Nguyen Trong Thien, the Director of the C Hospital Da Nang, remarked that all of the dispatched medical team members would do their best within their potential and capabilities to help HCMC to successfully fight and contain the deadly disease.
"These healthcare workers have a high level of professional skills and rich experience in supporting and treating COVID-19 patients. All of them have already received 2 doses of COVID-19 vaccines and tested negative for the virus before arriving in HCMC. Hopefully, all of them are safe amid the pandemic and complete their assigned tasks" said Dr Thien.
It is known that this is the third time the C Hospital has sent medical staff to support the southern provinces and cities in an effort to support them in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. Previously, two groups of health workers from the hospital were deployed to hospitals in HCMC and Binh Duong Province.
