Many hot issues of deep concern raised by voters
Voters-made opinions focused on issues of deep concern to the public general, many of which were related to COVID-19 prevention and control and potential supportive schemes for the city dwellers to resume normal life.

The above-mentioned comment was made by Secretary of municipal Party Committee cum Head of the city's National Assembly (NA) Deputies’ delegation Nguyen Van Quang at a meeting on Friday with voters before the second session of the 15th NA.
Also present at the event were municipal Party Committee Deputy Secretary cum municipal People's Council Chairman Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and Chairman of the Da Nang Committee of Viet Nam Fatherland Front Ngo Xuan Thang.
Addressing the event, Secretary Quang said that, on the transition to a new normal state, the city will take cautious steps to ensure necessary and safe conditions with a focus placed in enhancing vaccine coverage, improving the grassroots healthcare system, and securing timely COVID-19 treatment.
Most importantly, people must strictly follow the 5K recommendation, build up awareness and form a habit of staying healthy to avoid contracting the coronavirus.

As for economic recovery and development plans, the city has completed a draft plan for pandemic control and economic recovery.
The local authorities are always willing to receive any constructive feedback from local voters and businesses to both respond safely to any breakouts and boost economic restoration, and facilitate businesses to access supportive mechanisms and policies on tax and fees.
At the event, many voters were interested in issues such as COVID-19 prevention and control and social welfare polices for those financially affected by COVID-19.

Voter Nguyen Quang Tuyen from An Hai Bac Ward, Son Tra District, for instance, proposed that the national government and ministries continue to release policies to drive economic recovery and give more support to those in need, especially workers and people facing difficulties under the economic impact COVID-19.
Municipal People's Committee Vice Chairwoman Ngo Thi Kim Yen said that, so far the coronavirus wave has been brought under control in Da Nang.
The vaccination rate of local people aged 18 and above accessing COVID-19 vaccine shots reached 91%.
Also, the health systems at all levels can meet pandemic prevention and control standards, adapt to the new situation and ensure human resources, equipment, and operating mechanisms.
