Nearly 200 border guards involved in cleaning the beach

In response to the 'Let's Cleanup the Sea' campaign 2021, on October 11, around 200 members of the border guard stations of Hai Van, Phu Loc, Son Tra and Non Nuoc, and the Da Nang Port Border Guard, along with Youth Union members from sea border areas, were actively involved in cleaning up Thanh Khe, Tien Sa, My Khe and Non Nuoc beaches in Da Nang.

As a result, nearly 2 tonnes of trash were collected and treated.

Launched by the Da Nang Youth Union, the campaign aimed to uphold Youth Union members’ responsibility for protecting marine environment, as well as enhance their capacity to adapt to the impacts of climate change.
