Prime Minister approves transfer nearly 44ha of paddy land into land for projects in Da Nang

The Vietnamese Prime Minister has just approved the transfer of nearly 44 hectares of paddy land in the suburb district of Hoa Vang to non-agricultural land for the development of 2 key projects here.

In detail, the aforementioned potential projects are the Phong Nam Urban Area project in Hoa Chau Commune, which is expected to be developed by the Da Nang- Mien Trung Investment Joint Stock Company, and the Hoa Phuoc Wholesale Market in the namesake commune.

The Da Nang Department of Natural Resources and Environment is asking for permission from the municipal People's Committee for approval on the implementation of the above-mentioned projects as part of the adjustments to the land use planning during 2021 - 2030 period in Hoa Vang District.

These are also component projects in line with the zoning planning of sub-divisions and the Prime Minister –approved adjustments to the Da Nang Master Plan for its major developments by 2030, with a vision toward 2045.

The Prime Minister assigned the Da Nang People's Committee to organise the implementation of the land transfer in accordance with the national laws on land, implement land allocation, land lease and the auction of land use rights in legitimate manner with proper authority ensured.
