Within the framework of a working visit to Da Nang by a high-level Ducth trade delegation, the Dutch Embassy in Viet Nam and the Dutch Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, on Thursday, held a get-together for Da Nang and Dutch businesses.

The event aimed to connect, and promote investment and trade cooperation, between Da Nang businesses and their Dutch partners.

During the event, participating enterprises together exchanged investment and trade promotion activities in such aspects as the establishment of investment funds, smart lighting solutions, education, and environmental technical consultation services ( wastewater, storm mitigation, coastal protection…), industry, manufacturing, maritime, logistics, sustainable design, and business consulting.

Executive Director of the Dutch Business Association in Viet Nam Guido Van Rooy praised Da Nang for its rapid economic growth rate and great potential, thereby boosting bilateral cooperation ties with the Netherlands. He also expressed his hope that many Dutch businesses would choose Da Nang as an investment destination in the near future.

Currently, there are 6 Dutch enterprises operating in Da Nang with a total investment capital of about US$490,000.
