Some artists said, there are few periodic contemporary music programmes at outdoor venues. Currently, the space for Vietnamese traditional music, ‘bai choi’ and ‘tuong’ shows is still temporary. Therefore, voters suggested the city leaders issue new policies on promoting the development of public cultural space in the city.

In his point of view, Chairman of the Da Nang Union of Literature and Arts Associations Bui Van Tieng highlighted the vital role of public space in urban life in creating the interaction between people and people, and between people and nature. He, therefore, expressed his hoped that more public space will be developed in the city during its urbanisation process.

Photographer Nguyen Quang noted that taking photos, recording videos, and checking in at tourist spots, and then posting them on such social network sites as Facebook, Instagram, Google Map, etc, have greatly contributed to advertising the city's tourism images for many years.

He suggested that the city should publish the city’s best places for photography on social network sites or tourist electronic maps in order to stimulate the exploration needs of tourists.

Artiste Tran Quang Hao, Director of the Trung Vuong Theater, stressed the need for the city to develop effective solutions to attract high-quality artistes to the city, thereby contributing to the development of the city's cultural space.

According to Mr. Nguyen Hoang Long, former Vice Chairman of the municipal People's Committee, it is necessary to develop each art discipline, hereby promoting the development of the city's common community cultural space.

He urged artists citywide to create rich and diverse artworks to contribute to the development of cultural space in the city in the time to come.
