Da Nang top leader visits those with meritorious services to national revolution
To mark the 47th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day (April 30, 1975 - 2022), Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang on Thursday visited and presented gifts to the Da Nang Centre for Caring People with Meritorious Services to National Revolution and a number of social policy families.
He was accompanied by municipal People's Committee Vice Chairwoman Ngo Thi Kim Yen.
During visit to the Da Nang Centre for Caring People with Meritorious Services to National Revolution, Secretary Quang expressed the city’s deep gratitude to those who made the great contributions to the national resolution for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
The city leaders pledged to always strive to build Da Nang into increasingly civilised and modern city in the time ahead.
The municipal administration will ensure the best conditions for the care and support of people with meritorious services to the city's revolution as well as those living in the aforementioned centre to ensure their physical and mental health.
Whilst visiting and presenting gifts to the family of Vietnamese Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Do in Ngu Hanh Son District and the family of Hero of the People's Armed Forces Nguyen Thi Tam in Thanh Khe District, the city’s Party chief wished the duo good health.
He also hoped that they would to uphold their families’ traditional patriotism, setting shining examples for younger generations to follow and encourage their descendants to make greater efforts for the city’s growth.
