Da Nang officials, people always look towards Hoang Sa and Truong Sa
The Liaison Committee of the Da Nang delegation working in Truong Sa (Spratly) held a meeting to celebrate the 5th anniversary of the Da Nang officials’ visit to the archipelago (2017-2022).

Also present at this celebration event were Deputy Secretary of the Da Nang Party Committee cum Chairman of the municipal People's Council Luong Nguyen Minh Triet and Chairman of the municipal People's Committee Le Trung Chinh, who were the members of the delegation.
Addressing the meeting, Chairman Chinh affirmed that the Da Nang delegation's visit to Truong Sa Archipelago was of great significance, leaving many good feelings on officers and soldiers who were guarding the Fatherland’s sea and islands around the clock.
The municipal government chief said that the city would promote publicity activities so that cadres, Party members and local resident’s understand more about importance of the homeland’s territorial waters, and wherever they are, they always look towards the country’s sea and islands, especially the Hoang Sa and Truong Sa archipelagos that belong to Viet Nam.
The city will, in the coming time, continue to send delegations to Truong Sa in efforts to join forces to protect the homeland’s sea and islands.

Head of the Liaison Committee Vo Cong Tri, who was former Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party Committee, said that each venue during the Truong Sa trip left impressive emotions in the hearts of Da Nang delegates.
He affirmed that, all members committed themselves to doing their best to accompany the marine forces, thereby contributing more to the cause of sustainable protection of the national sovereignty over its sea, islands and sacred continental shelf.
During the 2017 Truong Sa business trip, the Da Nang delegation provided material and spiritual support for the islands. Aids worth VND10 billion a total and many other meaningful gifts were presented to islanders.
Also, the delegation proposed the municipal Party Committee and the People's Committee to grant VND 20 billion in support to build a multi-purpose cultural house to serve officials and soldiers on Da Lat island.
