Lao Consul General pays courtesy visit to Da Nang's leaders
Lao Consul General in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuang paid a courtesy visit to the city's leaders on Tuesday afternoon in the recognition of the 77th anniversary of Viet Nam’s National Day (September 2).

During his meeting with municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang, the Lao guest praised the Party, State and people of Viet Nam for their remarkable achievements in the process of national construction and protection over the past 77 years.
Under the wise leadership of the Party and Government, Viet Nam's economy has recorded rapid and sustainable growth, and its position has been increasingly affirmed in the international arena, added Mr. Souphanh Hadaoheuang.
The Lao diplomat also applauded Da Nang’s socio-economic development achievements since its recognition as a centrally-governed city 25 years ago.
He expressed his belief that Da Nang would become a major economic hub of the country and the region in line with Resolution No. 43-NQ/TW regarding the local progress by 2030 with a vision to 2045.

On behalf of the Party, government and people of Da Nang, Secretary Quang thanked Lao Consul General Souphanh Hadaoheuang, and leaders of Laos, for their special attention to Da Nang, and Viet Nam as a whole.
The city Party chief Quang remarked Da Nang has set up the bilateral special cooperation relationships and signed cooperation agreements in many spheres with five south-central provinces of Laos over recent years.
He hoped the special friendship and solidarity between Da Nang and the Lao south central localities, and Viet Nam and Laos as a whole, will be deepened in the coming time.
