Da Nang Party chief presents Mid-Autumn Festival gifts to children with special circumstances

Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang, on Friday afternoon, visited and presented gifts to the Tuong Lai (Future) Special School on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival.

Secretary Quang wished all school pupils a happy and warm Mid-Autumn Festival in the love of their parents and teachers.

The city leader hoped that the school's leaders, teachers and staff will overcome difficulties and continue to make efforts to care for and teach children there in order to help them improve their knowledge and behavior and become good and useful citizens in society.

At the same time, Mr. Quang asked the municipal Department of Education and Training, the Department of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs and relevant agencies to facilitate school teachers and pupils to well fulfil their teaching and learning tasks, and raise the children there better.

The Future Special School specialises in teaching culture and practice skills and providing vocational training for pupils with disabilities.

The school has a total of 267 pupils, including 205 pupils with intellectual disabilities and 62 with hearing loss involved in preschool, primary and secondary educational levels. Most of the pupils are from poor families and some are orphans. Currently, the school has 56 officers, teachers and staff in total.
