Da Nang, Champasak promote bilateral relations
Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee Chairman Ngo Xuan Thang hosted a reception on Monday for a group of visitors from the Lao Front Committee for National Construction in Champasak Province, led by its Chairwoman cum Vice Chairwoman of the Champasak Province branch of the Viet Nam -Laos Friendship Association Vardsana Silima.

During his meeting with the Lao guests, Chairman Thang highly lauded fruitful results from cooperative programmes between Da Nang and Laotian localities, especially south central provinces of Laos, over the past years.
He affirmed the relations between Da Nang and Champasak Province, and Viet Nam - Laos as a whole, will be forever green and forever sustainable.
Also at the meeting, Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee Vice Chairman Duong Dinh Lieu briefed his Lao guests on the unit’s performance in raising funds for the poor and other social welfare activities in the city in recent years. Meanwhile, Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee Vice Chairwoman Tang Hoang Hon Tham shared her experience in publicising Party resolutions, and State policies and laws, to people from walks of life.
In her part, Mrs. Vardsana Silima said that she was very impressed with the city’s cordial and warm welcome. She also took the opportunity to thank the city for sharing valuable experiences in raising funds for needy people as well as encouraging locals to abide by the Party's guidelines and the State’s policies through the mass media and social networks.
Chairman Ngo Xuan Thang hoped that in the coming time, Da Nang and Champasak Province will support each other to well implement cooperation contents, thereby contributing to preserving and developing the bilateral relationships and further tightening the great friendship, comprehensive cooperation and special solidarity between Viet Nam and Laos as a whole.
