Da Nang Party Committee Deputy Secretary cum municipal People's Council Chairman Luong Nguyen Minh Triet joined residents in Hoa My 6 residential area, Hoa Minh Ward, Lien Chieu District, for the Great National Unity Day on Sunday morning to mark the 92^nd anniversary of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front Traditional Day (November 18).

Deputy Secretary Triet emphasised that the organisation of the Great National Unity Day aims to consolidate and promote the people's mastery, strengthen national unity to further contribute to the country’s socio-economic development, as well as enhance the role of the Viet Nam Fatherland Front in the new era.

He highly praised the Hoa My 6 residential area for its great achievements in economic-cultural development and maintaining security and social order.

He remarked that, the infrastructure in the residential area has been improved, whilst officials and residents of the Hoa My 6 Residential Area have always actively participated in emulation movements of building cultural families and cultural neighborhoods, and raising ordinance funds and advocacy funds.

The City Party official highlighted great value and strength of the solidarity spirit among local residents in COVID-19 prevention and control.

Mr. Triet also reviewed the highlights of the city's socio-economic recovery and development in the first 10 months of 2022 to Hoa My 6 residents. He noted that the city was focusing on 5 key areas: high-quality service tourism associated with resort real estate; sea ​​economy and seaport associated with logistics services; high-tech industry associated with electronics and telecommunications; information technology in association with digital technology, and high-tech agriculture associated with high-quality fishery products.

He hoped that Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front Committees and mass organisations of Hoa Minh Ward in general, and Hoa My 6 residential area in particular, will continue to uphold their good tradition and achievements, effectively organise patriotic emulation movements, and promote the spirit of mutual affection and love to overcome difficulties.

He added special attention should be paid to promoting the glorious revolutionary tradition and good traditional cultural identity to build a healthy and peaceful cultural lifestyle in each family and neighborhood, thereby encouraging residents to strengthen the great power of solidarity and fulfill well the locality’s political-economic and cultural-social tasks.
