Thanh Hoa Province leaders offer incense at Da Nang Martyrs' Cemetery
As part of their ongoing working trip to Da Nang, a group of visitors from Thanh Hoa Province, led by its Provincial Party Committee Secretary and People's Council Chairman Do Trong Hung, on Monday, offered incense at the municipal Martyrs' Cemetery and donated houses of gratitude to flood-affected people in Hoa Vang District.

In a dignified and emotional atmosphere, the leaders of Thanh Hoa Province and Da Nang observed a one-minute moment of silence in memory of late President Ho Chi Minh, heroic Vietnamese mothers and martyrs at the Martyrs' Cemetery who had sacrificed their blood and bone for the cause of national liberation and reunification.
The Party Committees, governments and people of Thanh Hoa Province and Da Nang vowed to continue the tradition of their forefathers, as well as make every effort to overcome all difficulties, complete all tasks and make the homelands and the country as a whole more beautiful, peaceful, civilised and prosperous.

On the occasion, the Thanh Hoa delegation presented a house of gratitude to the family of Mrs. Nguyen Thi Hong in Huong Lam Village, Hoa Khuong Commune, Hoa Vang District, as well as donated gifts to 20 poor households in Hoa Phong and Hoa Nhon communes, Hoa Vang District.
Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Secretary Do Trong Hung expressed his sympathy over difficulties and damage caused by natural disasters to residents in Hoa Vang District in particular and Da Nang in general. He hoped they will continue to overcome the consequences to stabilise their lives soon.
