City leader visits armed forces ahead of Tet
Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh paid pre-Tet visits to city-based armed forces on Thursday.

When visiting the Military Command, Vice Chairman Minh highly lauded the city’s military force for their great efforts in maintaining the local security and defence, and successfully fulfilling their assigned task.
He asked for more support from the Military Command to complete the new year’s tasks and contribute to the city’s progress.

Visiting the patrol force No. 8394 in Son Tra District, Mr. Minh highly appreciated the patrol force No. 8394 in carrying out patrol and control tasks, thereby contributing to maintaining order and safety in the district in particular, and in the city in general.
Son Tra is an area with a large concentration of tourists, and entertainment areas, so the patrol force needs to be more proactive and actively patrol for early detection and timely handling of security and order issues during the upcoming Tet holiday, he added.

During his meeting with leaders of the Traffic Police Division under the municipal Department of Police, Vice Chairman Minh acknowledged the great efforts made by local traffic police in coordination with police units and localities to ensure traffic safety and urban order.
The leader of the Traffic Police Division said that during the Lunar New Year 2023, his division arranged a force to be on duty to separate traffic flows to avoid congestion on many downtown roads, markets and shops. In addition, traffic police are arranged on national highways, helping people return to their hometown to welcome in Tet safely and conveniently.

Meeting with police in Hoa Phu Commune, Hoa Vang District, Vice Chairman Minh acknowledged the contribution of the commune police force in ensuring local security and order. At the same time, he suggested the police force soon make specific proposals and reports for the city leaders to have a plan to solve difficulties about the headquarters of the unit.
