Consuls General of foreign countries extend Tet greetings to Da Nang's leaders
The Consuls General of China, Russia, Japan and Laos in Da Nang paid pre-Tet visits to the city's leaders on Monday.

Chinese Consul General in Da Nang Dong Biyou congratulated Da Nang on its outstanding socio-economic achievements in 2022 during her meeting with municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang.
She informed Mr. Quang about the results of the 20th National Congress of the Chinese Communist Party, and thanked the city for its great support for the Chinese Consulate General's smooth operation over the past time.
She expressed her desire that the comprehensive cooperation relations between Viet Nam and China in general, and between Da Nang and Chinese localities in particular, will be further intensified in many fields.
Secretary Quang believed that the coordination relations between Da Nang and the Chinese Consulate General in 2023 would contribute to promoting the comprehensive strategic cooperation relationship of the parties and governments of the two countries.

Whilsting meeting with Secretary Quang, Consul General of Russia in Da Nang Mizonova Maria Georgievna wished the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang a happy and prosperous lunar new year.
She hoped that, in 2023, Da Nang would continue to grow strongly in order to become a reliable destination for international tourists and businesses, including those from her country.
In reply, the Da Nang Party chief expressed his belief that the bilateral cooperation relations would continue to be tightened in the near future.

Sending Tet wishes to the city leaders, Japanese Consul General in Da Nang Yakabe Yoshinori emphasised that 2023 will mark the 50th founding anniversary of diplomatic ties between Japan and Viet Nam. He, therefore, asked for support from the city to successfully organise cultural and sports activities to mark the important event.
For his part, Mr. Quang revealed that in 2023, the city leaders will visit and work with some localities of Japan, and will make every effort to well organise activities on the occasion of the 50th founding anniversary of the Viet Nam - Japan diplomatic relations.

Meanwhile, Laotian Consul General in Da Nang Souphanh Hadaoheuang wished the great friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive partnership between Viet Nam and Laos to be evergreen and sustainable forever.
Secretary Quang pledged to create very favourable conditions for the Lao Consul General in Da Nang to perform well in the coming time.
*Also on the same day, Major General Nguyen Thanh Nam, Deputy General Director of Viettel Group, visited and extended Tet wishes to Da Nang’s leaders.
On behalf of the Group’s leaders, Major General Nguyen Thanh Nam wished the leaders, authorities and people of the city a happy lunar new year.

Secretary Quang congratulated the Viettel Group for its remarkable achievements in 2022, and expressed his desire that the group will continue accompanying the city in developing the digital economy.
During his meeting with Secretary Quang, Colonel Tong Huu Nghia, Director of Department 11, General Department 2 under the Ministry of National Defence, sent Tet greetings to the Party Committee, government and people of the city, thanking the city leaders for their special care for the unit.

Mr. Quang acknowledged the contributions made by Department 11 to the city’s progress. He hoped that the two sides will work together to fulfill the assigned political tasks in the next lunar new year.
