On Tuesday, some of Da Nang’s leaders paid post-Tet visits to some city-based enterprises.

The city continues to accompany businesses

During his visit to the Da Nang Rubber Joint Stock Company (DRC), municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang highly lauded the company for its great contribution to the city’s progress, especially the State budget. He expressed his belief that in 2023 and the following years, the company will achieve its set goals, and ensure life and income for its employees.

Reporting on the company's activities in recent years, Mr. Le Hoang Khanh Nhut, General Director of DRC, revealed that the average monthly income of employees at DRC is VND18 million per person. The number of employees has continuously increased over the years. In addition, the company set a target of earning VND 5,500 billion in revenue in 2023, exceeding the actual revenue of 2022 by more than 10%.

Expressing his Tet wishing to staff of the Heineken Viet Nam - Da Nang Brewery Co., Ltd., Secretary Quang expressed his impression on the company’s production and business activities with green and environmentally friendly technology criteria, and its ‘responsible drinking’ communication programmes. In particular, the company in Da Nang has made a great contribution to the city's budget over the years.

He hoped that the company will continue to achieve many successes in the year ahead and actively contribute to the city’s overall development.

A representative of the Heineken Viet Nam - Da Nang Brewery Co., Ltd said that in 2022, the company is proud to be the largest contributor to the State budget with VND 2,670 billion. Heineken's business activities recorded positive recovery. By 2025, the company aims to develop green factories and modernize machinery.

Helping businesses overcome difficulties and problems

Also on Tuesday morning, municipal Party Committee Deputy Secretary cum People's Council Chairman Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, and People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh attended the opening ceremony of production and business activities at the beginning of the lunar year at the Da Nang Port JSC, Da Nang Water Supply JSC and BRG Group.

Besides sending best wishes to the Da Nang Port JSC on the occasion of the Lunar New year, Deputy Secretary Triet expressed his delight at the company's impressive production and business results, contributing to the city's socio-economic development. He also praised the company for its great efforts in being creative and finding new ways to overcome challenges and gain remarkable results.

He also proposed the company continue to promote digital transformation, and improve the quality of human resources in order meet new requirements in the year.

Mr. Tran Le Tuan, Secretary of the Party Committee cum General Director of the Da Nang Port JSC, said the Da Nang Port is one of 5 ports under VMIC that continues to grow steadily and has developed 10 new container service routes to ports.

With the motto ‘Customer - Centric’, the Da Nang Port has focused on finding sources of goods and customers from industrial parks and clusters, the Central Regional market, and the East-West Economic Corridor, as well as researching the rear areas and growth potential in the Lao market.

At the Da Nang Water Supply JSC (DAWACO), Mr. Triet highly lauded the achievements gained by DAWACO over the past years.

He expressed his pleasure that the rate of water loss has been reduced and water supply-related problems have been promptly handled. Many water supply plants have been put into operation in recent years.

He wished that in 2023, DAWACO will take more effective solutions to ensure water security, invest in water supply infrastructure, and reduce clean water loss.

When meeting with leaders of the BRG Group in Hoa Hai Ward, Ngu Hanh Son District, Mr. Triet acknowledged the contributions of BRG Group in promoting the city’s socio-economic development, especially for the local tourism and service industry.

He expressed his desire that the group will continue to accompany the city to organize important events, thereby contributing to promoting the image of the city to the world.

Businesses continue to contribute to the city

During his post-Tet visit to the FPT Corporation in Ngu Hanh Son District’s Hoa Hai Ward, municipal People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh spoke highly of the corporation for its great efforts in boosting digital transformation, and putting the Hope School for children who became orphans due to COVID-19 into operation in the city.

At the Hoa Tho Textiles and Garments JSC and the Daiwa Viet Nam Co., Ltd. based in the Hoa Khanh Industrial Park in Lien Chieu District, Chairman Chinh acknowledged and commended the companies’ achievements in 2022, especially in ensuring social security, life assurance, salary, bonus and employment regimes for its workers before, during and after Tet. He vowed that the municipal authorities will create very favourable conditions for them to overcome their existing difficulties in the year ahead.

At the Fujikin International Co., Ltd based in the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, Mr. Chinh assessed that the Fujikin Da Nang Research and Development Center was formed with the function of commercialization of technologies, and the use of scientific research, which is very suitable with the city’s development orientation.

The city will continue to facilitate the center to develop, and the enterprise to remove difficulties and obstacles when operating in Da Nang, he pledged.

When meeting with leaders of the Authority of Da Nang Hi-tech Park and Industrial Parks, Chairman Chinh promoted the role of the Authority in selecting investors and accelerating the handling of procedures for the formation of new industrial parks.
