Major General Le Van Phuc highly appreciated the city's Border Guard officers and men for well performing the task of protecting the country’s sovereignty over sea and islands, maintaining combat readiness, and ensuring discipline management.
He asked the municipal Border Guard Command to continue to uphold the sense of responsibility, overcome difficulties, and successfully complete all assigned tasks in all situations. He took the opportunity to wish border guard force a joy, happy and warm Lunar New Year.
For his part, Colonel Tran Cong Thanh, Commander of the Da Nang Border Guard, said that in 2022, the city’s border guard thoroughly and seriously implemented the directives, resolutions and plans of their superiors. At the same time, the unit actively advised the municipal Party Committee and the Border Guard Party Committee on guidelines and measures to build a strong border guard force.
In addition, the Da Nang Border Guard coordinated with relevant units to promptly and effectively handle situations at sea and border areas and border gates, significantly contributing to protecting national security sovereignty and border, maintain political security and social order and safety in sea border areas, islands and port border gates.
Notably, many units and individuals were rewarded by the Party, State, ministries, departments, branches and localities at all levels.
