During his pre-Tet visit in Da Nang, National Assembly Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong visited and extended his Tet greetings to officers and men of Brigade 172 under the Zone 3 Naval High Command on Wednesday.

On behalf of leaders of the Party and State, Vice Chairman Phuong highly praised the Brigade 172, and the Zone 3 Naval High Command as a whole, for their great efforts in firmly defending the sovereignty of the country’s sea and islands.

He took the opportunity to ask the Brigade 172 to continue thoroughly grasping and strictly implementing directives, resolutions and plans of the Central Military Commission, the Ministry of National Defence, and the Military High Command. He also urged them to uphold their heroic traditions and maintain combat readiness to fulfil their tasks assigned in all situations, especially in Tet.

On the occasion of the upcoming Lunar New Year 2023, Vice Chairman Tran Quang Phuong presented Tet gifts to officers and men of the Brigade 172 and the Zone 3 Naval High Command as a whole.
