Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang, on Friday, held a reception for a group of naval officers and men from submarine HQ-186 Da Nang and the Khanh Hoa Province-based Submarine Brigade 189 under the Vietnamese Navy.

Secretary Quang praised the 189 Submarine Brigade and the submarine HQ-186 Da Nang for their outstanding achievements they gained in the past year.

He expressed his belief that both units’ naval officers and men would continue their efforts to fulfill their assigned tasks in the time to come. He also took the opportunity to wish them a warm and happy Tet.

For his part, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Truong, Political Commissar of the Submarine Brigade 189, said that in 2022, his unit successfully completed the assigned tasks, maintain combat readiness, and firmly protect the sovereignty of the country’s sea and islands, thereby contributing to maintaining a peaceful environment for promoting the city’s socio-economic development.

On behalf of the submarine brigade’s officers and men, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Duc Truong expressed his thanks and best wishes for a happy and prosperous Lunar New Year to Da Nang leaders. He believed that under the leadership of the municipal Party Committee, Da Nang will become more prosperous overall in 2023.
