Serious atmosphere recorded at administrative agencies on first working day after Tet

On Friday morning, serious working atmosphere was recorded at most of government agencies across Da Nang on the first working day after Tet (the Lunar New Year Festival) break.

On Friday morning, a few numbers of people were seen doing transactions at the 'One-stop' shop at the Da Nang Administrative Centre. Almost of officials and civil servants returned to work and enthusiastically supported local residents.

Similarly, all of the public servants at municipal, district and commune-level administration agencies and organizations set aside the fun of enjoying the relaxing festive ambiance of the ‘post-Tet’ to return to work with a high sense of responsibility and dedication.

As recorded at the ‘One-stop shop’ Divisions of Hoa Vang District and 11 communes in the localities, officials and civil servants were on duty on the first day back to work after Tet break although a few people were seen coming to have administrative procedures handled.

Mr. Vo Huy Thac, Director of the Land Registration Office in Hoa Vang District, said that from the early morning of January 27, leaders of the office met and extended Tet greetings to officials and employees.

“On the first day back to work, a few people came to do transactions at the ‘One-stop’ shop of the Hoa Vang District People's Committee. However, 100% of the unit's staff were present and worked seriously" Mr. Thac added.

In a similar vein, all ‘one-stop’ shops for public services across Da Nang have resumed their operation after the Tet festival in a serious atmosphere.

Going to the 'one-stop' shop department of Son Tra District to have her citizen identity card updated, Ms. Ngo Thi Thuong, 45, from Ho Chi Minh City, expressed her satisfaction with the enthusiastic guidance of the department’s staff.

Meanwhile, Deputy Chief of Office of Thanh Khe District People's Committee Vo Huy Hoang revealed that the district targeted to continue to promote digital transformation in administrative reform in a bid to create convenience for locals and visitors to do administrative procedures in the lunar new year.

During his Friday post-Tet visit to the ‘one-stop’ shop in the Da Nang Administrative Centre, municipal People's Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh highly appreciated the efforts of government officials and civil servants on duty here in enhancing the quality of public service delivery, thus bringing satisfaction of local citizens.

The municipal government chief affirmed that he will continue to direct relevant agencies to create very favourable conditions for the ‘one-stop’ shop to fulfill their missions and assigned tasks in 2023.

He remarked Da Nang identified the theme for 2023 as ‘The year focuses on unleashing resources, attracting investment, maintaining economic growth and ensuring social welfare’. He, therefore, suggested staff of the ‘one-stop’ shop continue promote the sense of responsibility and make every effort to handle administrative procedures as soon as possible for organizations and citizens, thereby creating trust and satisfaction among businesses and residents.
