Da Nang leaders offer incense in memory of late Secretary Ho Nghinh
Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang and leaders of local departments and agencies, on Wednesday, offered incense in memory of Ho Nghinh, late Secretary of the Quang Da Special Zone’s Party Committee and Quang Nam - Da Nang Provincial Party Committee to mark his 110th birthday anniversary (February 15, 1913 - February 15, 2023).

Secretary Quang wished the family of late secretary Ho Nghinh a good health, and expressed his deep gratitude to the late secretary for his great contributions in the struggle for national liberation as well as in the construction and development of the Quang Nam - Da Nang homeland.
He vowed that the Party, government and people of the city will continue to make every effort to build Da Nang into a more prosperous, beautiful, civilised and modern city in the coming time.

Ho Nghinh, also known as Ho Huu Phuoc, was born on February 15, 1913 in Thi Lai Village, Duy Xuyen town, currently known as Duy Trinh Commune, Duy Xuyen District, Quang Nam Province, in a family with a tradition of studiousness and patriotism.
He joined the revolution very early and made great contributions to the struggle for national liberation.
After national liberation, Ho Nghinh was voted as Secretary of Quang Nam - Da Nang Province which was merged from the Quang Da Special Zone and Quang Nam Province.
After that, he was promoted to Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee's Economic Commission.
In any position, Ho Nghinh also kept ethical standards of “diligence, thrift, integrity, righteousness, and impartiality”, and significantly contributed to the country’s construction and development.
