Within the framework of their ongoing working trip to Khanh Hoa Province, a group of Da Nang’s leaders, led by municipal Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang, paid a visit to the Navy Region 4 High Command on Friday.

During his visit, Secretary Quang and the Da Nang delegation highlighted huge efforts naval officers and men of the Naval Region 4 have made in safeguarding the national sovereignty over its sea and islands.

Mr. Quang expressed his belief that with their strength and strong determination, naval officers and soldiers will well fulfill their assigned tasks for the year.

He gave spiritual encouragement to naval officers and soldiers, wishing them to overcome physical and mental difficulties in a bid to firmly protect the country’s sacred sovereignty over its sea and islands.

Right after that, the Da Nang delegation handed over and cut the ribbon to inaugurate the training machine room, and presented the logos of cultural institutions worth nearly VND700 million in total.

Also on the same day, the group of the city’s leaders visited the training, learning, working and living place of naval officers and soldiers of the Submarine Brigade 189 and Submarine 186 - Da Nang.
