During his meeting with Mr. Daniel Coenraad Stork, Consul General of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City on Monday, Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh introduced to the foreign guest his city’s potential, strengths and fields attracting investment such as information technology, high-tech industry, innovative start-ups, seaports, airports, tourism, services and logistics.

Vice Chairman Minh hoped that the Dutch diplomat would appeal for more potential investors and businesses in his country to invest in the city’s Lien Chieu Port Project.

He wished that the two sides would continue to have close cooperation in fields of natural disaster prevention and control, climate change, information technology development and finance.

For his part, Consul General Daniel Coenraad Stork expressed his desire that the central coastal city of Da Nang will organise some cultural exchange activities to mark the 50^th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic relations between Viet Nam and the Netherlands.

He vowed that he will do his utmost to support Da Nang to promote the development of innovation startup activities among local students.
