Da Nang promotes sea-based tourism cooperation with Brazil

During his reception on Friday for Brazilian Ambassador to Viet Nam Marco Farani, Da Nang People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh briefed him on the city’s potential, advantages and development strategies in the coming time.

Specifically, Da Nang is calling for investment into four industrial parks (IPs), namely the Da Nang Hi-Tech Park, the Da Nang Concentrated Information Technology Park, and the Lien Chieu and Hoa Khanh IPs.

Chairman Chinh also expressed his delight at the good cooperation relationship between Viet Nam and Brazil. However, up to now, the Brazilian localities and Da Nang have yet no to establish friendly cooperative relations.

He, therefore, took the opportunity to ask for help from the Brazilian ambassador to appeal for potential businesses in his country to invest in Da Nang.

“We are committed to giving our best support and creating all conditions for Brazilian investors to seek investment opportunities in Da Nang” he pledged.

In reply, Ambassador Marco Farani thanked the respectful reception of the city leader and expressed his impression of the beauty, potential and advantages of Da Nang, especially its tourism environment.

The guest agreed with the proposal made by Chairman Chinh, pledging to introduce more businesses and investors from Rio de Janeiro to visit and learn about investment opportunities in the city, especially in sea-based tourism.

According to Ambassador Marco Farani, Rio de Janeiro is a beautiful coastal city of Brazil. He affirmed that he will act as a bridge to promote the development of the friendship and cooperation relationship between Brazil and Da Nang in the time to come.
