51st ARTDO International Conference slated for September 2024 in Da Nang

During his meeting on Tuesday with Da Nang People’s Committee Vice Chairwoman Ngo Thi Kim Yen, Mr. Thomas Chee, Honourary President of ARTDO International expressed his impression of the beauty, potential and advantages of Da Nang.

The visitor also added the ARTDO began as a non-profit NGO, a regional umbrella organisation for training and development comprising national training bodies from 12 countries, with its secretariat based in Manila, Philippines. Today, this organisation has grown and evolved into ARTDO INTERNATIONAL - a global reach umbrella body with members comprising national organisations, education and training institutes, multinational corporations, HR and management specialists from well over 30 countries worldwide.

Mr. Thomas Chee informed that ARTDO International is expected to choose Da Nang as the venue for the 51st ARTDO International Conference slated for September 4 - 6, 2024.

For her part, Vice Chairwoman Yen remarked Da Nang has been focusing on training and developing high-quality human resources. She, therefore, took the opportunity to ask for help from the ARTDO International to share experience and support the city in developing high-quality human resources.

She pledged that the municipal government will create the most favourable conditions for ARTDO International to successfully organise its international conference in the field of human resource training and development in Da Nang.

Mr. Thomas Chee affirmed that, with its potential and experience, the ARTDO International would make efforts to support Da Nang to improve the quality of human resource training and development.
