He added that Da Nang has coordinated with the Japanese Embassy in Viet Nam and the Japanese Consulate General in Da Nang to successfully organise the Viet Nam - Japan Festival on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the diplomatic ties between the two countries (September 21, 1973 - September 21, 2023).
For his part, Special Advisor Takebe Tsutomu highly appreciated the potential, advantages and growth of Da Nang in terms of modern infrastructure and tourism development.
At the same time, he expressed his wish that the municipal government will connect and introduce some city-based universities involved in tourism, restaurants and hotels to strengthen human resource training in this field.
Accepting this proposal, Vice Chairman Minh asked the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Department of Tourism to connect with the University of Economics - the University of Da Nang, the Dong A University and others to further organise a seminar on developing high-quality human resources in this field and send local students to Japan under the internship programme.
