Da Nang and Wakayama boost cooperation in potential fields
Da Nang and Japan’s Wakayama Prefecture need to seek solutions to further promote cooperation in potential aspects, especially tourism, human resource training, marine economy and seafood industry, municipal People’s Committee Chairman Le Trung Chinh said on Wednesday while receiving Governor of Wakayama Prefecture Kishimoto Shuhei.

During his reception for the Japanese guest, Chairman Chinh introduced a number of aspects that Da Nang is focusing on developing and attracting investment such as tourism services, information technology, high-tech industry, innovative start-ups, seaports and airports.
The host added that the municipal government always created maximum conditions for foreign investors, including those from Japan, to invest and operate effectively in the city.
Chairman Chinh asked for support from Governor Kishimoto Shuhei to act as a bridge to encourage more businesses and partners from Wakayama, and Japan as a whole to look for cooperation and investment opportunities in areas which are their strengths.
For his part, Wakayama Governor Kishimoto Shuhei expressed his impression on the beauty and development of Da Nang. He affirmed that he would do his utmost to promote the development of friendly and cooperative relations between Wakayama and Da Nang, and Japan and Viet Nam at large.
