Da Nang, Japan's Kansai region strengthen bilateral cooperation
During his meeting with Da Nang Party Committee Secretary Nguyen Van Quang on Monday, President of the Japan-Viet Nam Friendship Association (JVFA) in Japan's Kansai region Tsuno Motonori expressed his delight at the fine development of the bilateral ties of the two countries in spheres of politics, economy, culture and education.

He added Japan is now in dire need of human resources from Viet Nam in such fields as nursing and information technology.
Da Nang boasts modern infrastructure and important strategic position as being located on the East-West Economic Corridor. Therefore, Mr. Tsuno Motonori hoped that in the coming time, the two localities would continue to strengthen the exchange of human resources in the fields of their strength.

Secretary of the municipal Party Committee Nguyen Van Quang said that Da Nang and some Japanese localities are actively promoting many activities to attract human resources in the field of healthcare and nursing from Da Nang to Japan through internship recruitment programmes.
The host took the opportunity to ask for help from JVFA in Kansai region to support Da Nang in connecting and introducing facilities in need of human resource in the abovementioned fields; as well as strengthen the organisation of cultural and people-to-people exchange programmes between Da Nang and localities in the Kansai region.

At the same time, he expressed his wish that Mr. Tsuno Motonori will continue to pay attention to the connection and promotion of cooperation programmes in the fields of investment, trade and tourism, especially the opening of the Da Nang - Osaka air route.
The city’s Party chief Quang hoped that the Japanese diplomat will introduce more Japanese investors and large corporations to seek investment opportunities in the soon-to-be-developed Lien Chieu Wharf project.
