The host remarked that Da Nang has established cooperative relations with 20 Japanese cities and provinces, and has set up official friendship and cooperation relations with four Japanese cities, including Kisarazu City.

In reply, Vice Mayoress Sachiko Tanaka expressed her impression of the opening night of the Viet Nam - Japan Cultural Exchange Festival on Thursday evening. She remarked that the festival was very large scale, showing the energy and enthusiasm of the dynamic, young and modern city of Da Nang.

According to Mrs. Sachiko Tanaka, Japan is in dire need of young human resources in nursing and preschool education.  She added the Seiwa University in Kisarazu City is providing the preschool education programme for foreigners and has many support policies for them.

She noted her city is now receiving 4 students from Da Nang to work at the city's nursing homes who all are highly appreciated for their capacity and professional qualifications. She hoped that the two cities will continue to strengthen cooperation on training human resources for nursing and preschool education fields.

Accepting Mrs. Sachiko Tanaka’s proposal, Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh assigned the municipal Department of Education and Training to act as a bridge to connect the Kisarazu City government with the Da Nang University of Education and the Dong A University to exchange nursing and preschool trainees to study and work in the Japanese locality.
