On Thursday morning, the Trade Union organisation of the Viet Nam Bank for Social Policy (VBSP) donated VND1 billion to the Da Nang Fatherland Front Committee to support the city’s social welfare work. The money was raised from trade union members of VBSP nationwide.

On behalf of the city's leaders, municipal People's Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh thanked all officials and trade union members in the entire VBSP system for joining hands to perform the good deed. He pledged that the donations will be given to disadvantaged families, and poor and near-poor households citywide.

In the coming time, the city wishes to continue to receive the attention and support from VBSP through credit programmes to promptly meet the borrowing needs of the poor and other policy beneficiaries.
