Da Nang leaders pay pre-Christmas visits to Christian Mission and Evangelical Church of Viet Nam

A group of Da Nang leaders, led by municipal Party Committee Deputy Secretary cum People’s Council Chairman Luong Nguyen Minh Triet, visited the city-based Viet Nam Christian Mission and the local representative board of the Evangelical Church of Viet Nam (South) on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas season and New Year 2024 on Friday.

On behalf of municipal authorities, Deputy Secretary Triet wished Head of the city-based Viet Nam Christian Mission Pastor, Parson Nguyen Quang Duc, along with Christ dignitaries and followers a joyful Christmas and a peaceful and prosperous New Year.

During the meeting, Mr. Triet briefed Christ dignitaries on the city’s socio-economic development in 2023 to dignitaries, affirming that the results were party attributed to their great efforts.

He revealed that, in 2024, the city sets many important goals in socio-economic development, and of becoming a political, cultural, economic centre and innovation city of the country.

He expressed his desire to want the Viet Nam Christian Mission to promote good traditions, mobilise dignitaries and officials to accompany the city in ensuring social welfare and economic development in the city.

For his part, Pastor Nguyen Quang Duc thanked the city leaders for the good wishes and creating favourable conditions for the Christian Fellowship Church of Viet Nam to successfully organise its 5th congress

When visiting the representative board of the Evangelical Church of Viet Nam (South) on the same day, Deputy Secretary Triet sent his best wishes to Protestant dignitaries and followers on the occasion of Christmas and New Year holidays.

He appreciated the Church's contributions, together with the entire Party, the army and the people, to successfully performing the task of socio-economic development.

Pastor Nguyen Thanh Hong, Head of the Representative Board of the Evangelical Church of Viet Nam (South) thanked the city leaders for their concern.

He affirmed that he will continue to encourage Protestant dignitaries and followers to further promote the tradition of patriotism and work together to build a prosperous and happy city.
