Da Nang official pays pre-New Year visits to Consulate Generals of Russia and Japan
A group of Da Nang’s officials, led by municipal People’s Committee Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh, paid visits to Consulate Generals of Russia and Japan in the city on the occasion of the New Year 2024.

At the Consulate General of Russia in Da Nang, Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh wished all staff there a year filled with safety, health, happiness, prosperity and success.
He also expressed his joy at the good friendly relationship between Viet Nam and Russia in general, and between Da Nang and Russian localities, in particular.
Mr. Minh voiced his hope that Mrs. Mizonova Maria Georgievna, the Russian Consul General in Da Nang, will do her utmost to boost the bilateral cooperation with Da Nang in various aspects, especially promoting the opening of direct flights connecting Da Nang with Russian localities.
For her part, the Russian diplomat thanked the Party Committee, government and people of Da Nang for their sincerity and good sentiment for the Consulate General of Russia in Da Nang, and Russia as a whole.
She believed that in the new year 2024, the relationship between Da Nang and Russia will continue to develop well, thereby contributing positively to the comprehensive cooperative relationship between Viet Nam and Russia in the coming time.

Also on the same day, Vice Chairman Ho Ky Minh sent happy New Year wishes to officials and staff of the Japanese Consulate General in Da Nang.
The city leader remarked the year 2023 marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Viet Nam - Japan diplomatic relations (September 21). To celebrate the anniversary, the city hosted numerous events and activities to facilitate people of the two countries to share cultural exchanges with each other, thereby contributing to tightening the friendly relationship between the two sides.
Mr. Minh took the opportunity to ask Consul-General of Japan in Da Nang Yakabe Yoshinori to continue his efforts to promote investment and cooperation in many fields such as economics, education, culture and tourism between Da Nang and Japanese localities in the years ahead.
In reply, the Japanese host expressed his joy and thanks for the city leaders' special care to the Japanese Consulate General in Da Nang.
He hoped that Da Nang will spend a lot of resources on training high-quality human resources to meet employment needs of Japanese companies and businesses involving the hi-tech industry which show their keen interest in investing in the city.
