During his reception on Thursday for Polish Honorary Consul in Da Nang Piotr Frieske, Director of the municipal Department of Foreign Affairs Nguyen Xuan Binh affirmed that the establishment of the Honorary Consulate Office of Poland in Da Nang will further strengthen the good relationship between Viet Nam and Poland.

He also voiced his hope that the Polish diplomat will do his utmost to further promote the friendship and cooperative relationship between Viet Nam and Poland in general, and between Da Nang and Polish localities and businesses in particular, in spheres of mutual interest.

Mr. Nguyen Xuan Binh said that the Department of Foreign Affairs and the Da Nang authorities will always accompany, coordinate, and create all favourable conditions for Mr. Piotr Frieske to well fulfill his assigned tasks during his tenure in Viet Nam.

For his part, Polish Honorary Consul Piotr Frieske thanked the leaders of the Da Nang Department of Foreign Affairs for the warm and solemn welcome. He vowed that he will act as a bridge between Da Nang and Poland, contributing to concretising and enhancing cooperation activities in the fields of cultural and people-to-people exchange, and human resource training.
